Brake repairs
D&R repairs and replaces brake pads, discs, calipers, hoses and brake fluid on cars and light commercial vehicles. If your brakes squeal, grind, pull to one side or the pedal feels soft, send the reg and what you're noticing on WhatsApp. If the red brake warning light stays on, don't drive.

Brake repairs: common questions
Anything else, ask D&R on WhatsApp. Photos or a short video of the problem help.
Build a booking messageHow often does brake fluid need changing?
Most manufacturers say every two years. Brake fluid absorbs water over time, which lowers its boiling point and makes the brakes less reliable when they get hot. Your handbook gives the interval for your vehicle.
Do pads and discs always have to be changed together?
Not always. Pads wear faster than discs. Discs are replaced when they're below the minimum thickness stamped on them, badly scored or warped. Either way, both sides of the same axle are done together.
