Clutch replacement
D&R replaces clutches on cars and vans of all makes, along with the release bearing, the master and slave cylinders and the dual-mass flywheel where one is fitted. Revs rising without the car speeding up, a biting point near the top of the pedal or a judder pulling away are the usual signs.

Clutch replacement: common questions
Anything else, ask D&R on WhatsApp. Photos or a short video of the problem help.
Build a booking messageWhat is a dual-mass flywheel?
Many diesels and some petrol cars use a two-part flywheel with springs inside to smooth out engine vibration. When it wears you'll often hear a rattle at idle or feel extra vibration. It sits behind the clutch, so it's checked, and often replaced, at the same time.
Can I keep driving with a slipping clutch?
For a short while, but it only gets worse and it can leave you stranded, especially when towing, loaded or on hills. Book it in before it gives up completely.
