Exhaust repairs
D&R repairs exhaust systems on cars and light commercial vehicles, from a blowing joint or snapped hanger to replacing whole sections, and diagnoses emissions faults such as a blocked diesel particulate filter (DPF) or a sticking EGR valve. If you can smell fumes inside the vehicle, get it looked at straight away.

Exhaust repairs: common questions
Anything else, ask D&R on WhatsApp. Photos or a short video of the problem help.
Build a booking messageWhy does my DPF light keep coming on?
A diesel particulate filter clears itself by burning off soot on longer runs at a steady speed. Lots of short trips stop that happening. If the light stays on after a good run, or the car goes into limp mode, get it diagnosed before the filter blocks completely.
Is a blowing exhaust dangerous?
It can be. A leak near the front of the vehicle can let exhaust fumes into the cabin. If you can smell fumes inside, open the windows and get it booked in straight away.
